Raised in the heart of the Sauerland (Germany) I grew up with forest floor under my feet.
Early on, I wasn’t only drawn outside – skateboarding, snowboarding and eventually water sports became my passions, before I even came by photography.

I had bought my first DSLR primarily in intent to film, but when time went by my focus shifted towards photography more and more.

Today you can find me in the area around Hamburg.
My work is devoted to different elements in the scopes of action, outdoor and lifestyle, whose contrast to each other I want to reveal in my pictures.

In doing so, our planet’s wild and cold places always had a stronger appeal to me than those that can be traveled easily.
